    Hi , im trying to diagnose a BMW 325i E90 that has a misfire , all seems well when i do a full diagnosis so i try doing an active test on the coil packs however i dont see this functionality for this vehicle but can do it on the E46. Any ideas?

     Hi nazamm3,

    Did you ever get a reply?

    If the missfire is intermittent sometimes the ECU wont give you an error or EML. You are right to check the coil packs, but have you tried checking the MAF sensor? 

    Not sure if you did solve the problem.
